Terms and conditions

This page sets out the contractual terms applicable to the use of bestlanparty.ro: who the operator is, account conditions, ticket purchase (through our partner livetickets.ro or at the event entrance), competition registration rules, intellectual property rights, liability limits, governing law and dispute resolution.

1. Operator and identification details

The bestlanparty.ro website (the "Site") is owned and operated by GOOD GAME INDUSTRY S.R.L., a Romanian legal entity with its registered office at {ADRESA}, registered with the Trade Registry under no. J2020003631405, sole tax registration code CUI 42386757 (the "Organiser" or "We"). Contact: contact@bestlanparty.ro.

The Site promotes and organises the "Best LAN Party" event (the "Event"), a gaming, esports and electronic music gathering held at HALO Events Center, B-dul Expozitiei, Romexpo Entrance C, Bucharest, on 6 June 2026, between 10:00 and 04:00 (Romanian time, EEST).

2. Acceptance of the terms

By accessing the Site, creating an account, registering for competitions or otherwise interacting with our online services, you fully understand and accept these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

3. Age requirements

The Site and the Event are exclusively addressed to persons aged 18 or over. Account creation, ticket purchases and Event participation are reserved for adults. Age verification is performed at the Event entrance by presenting a valid ID document. The Organiser reserves the right to refuse entry to anyone who cannot prove they are 18, with no obligation to refund the ticket.

4. Account creation and user responsibility

Some Site features (including registration for competitions held during the Event) require an account. When creating the account you must provide accurate, complete and up-to-date information (first name, last name, date of birth, gender, phone number, e-mail) and keep your credentials confidential. You are responsible for any activity carried out through your account.

We reserve the right to suspend or delete any account used in breach of these Terms, of the Access and Participation Rules or of applicable law.

5. Ticket purchase

Tickets to the Event are distributed through two channels:

  • Online, via our contractual partner LIVETICKETS, operated by Flow Concept S.R.L., available at livetickets.ro. The online sale is performed entirely on livetickets.ro, under their own Terms and Conditions, which the user accepts directly at the time of purchase. The transaction, payment, e-ticket issuance, invoicing and any returns are handled by livetickets.ro.
  • At the Event entrance (the HALO Events Center box office), subject to availability, with cash payment (RON) or by card.

Ticket prices, categories and any offers are displayed on the Site and/or on livetickets.ro at the time of booking.

Returns, cancellations, withdrawal. For tickets purchased online, the livetickets.ro terms and policy apply. As stated by livetickets.ro at the time of writing: "the purchase of show tickets is excluded from the right of withdrawal", and in case of cancellation or postponement of an event "refunds are made only according to the Organiser's decision". This exception is consistent with art. 16 letter l) of GEO no. 34/2014 on consumer rights in distance contracts, which excludes leisure services provided on a specific date from the right of withdrawal.

For any request related to tickets bought online (complaints, exchanges, refunds), please contact livetickets.ro directly using the contact details on their platform. For tickets bought at the entrance, contact the Organiser at contact@bestlanparty.ro.

The ticket (physical or electronic, with a unique code) must be kept legible until the entry check. A damaged or unreadable ticket does not grant access.

6. Competition registration

The Event hosts gaming competitions (CS2, EAFC26, GeoGuessr and other titles announced on the Site). Registration is optional, free for the account holder and conditional upon holding a valid Event ticket.

When you register for a competition, the system creates a "snapshot" of your account data (first name, last name, date of birth, gender, phone, e-mail), to which the ticket code and the team-mate's name are added. This snapshot is kept as proof of registration and of meeting participation conditions. Full processing details are described in the Privacy Policy.

Registering for a competition implies acceptance of the specific competition rules published on the Site, as well as of the general Access and Participation Rules.

Prizes, partners, format and competition schedule are announced on the Site.

7. User-generated content

If the user submits messages, comments or other content through the Site's forms, they assume liability for the content and for compliance with third-party rights. The Organiser reserves the right to remove illegal, offensive or law-breaching content.

8. Intellectual property

All Site elements - including, without limitation, the "Best LAN Party" trademark, logos, graphic design, photographs, video materials, texts, source code, page structure and content selection - are protected under Law no. 8/1996 on copyright and related rights and the related trademark legislation. Reproduction, distribution, modification or commercial use of any of these elements is permitted only with the prior written consent of GOOD GAME INDUSTRY S.R.L.

Trademarks, logos and names of partners, sponsors and game publishers (CS2, EAFC26, GeoGuessr etc.) belong to their respective holders and are used on the Site for informational purposes only.

9. Site availability and technical limits

We make reasonable efforts to keep the Site continuously available and accurate. However, the Site is provided "as is" and we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. The Organiser is not liable for technical unavailability caused by communication networks, hosting providers or other circumstances beyond our control.

10. Limitation of liability

Within the limits permitted by applicable Romanian law:

  • the Organiser is not liable for indirect damages (lost profits, lost opportunities, non-quantifiable moral damages) arising from the use of the Site;
  • the Organiser's total liability towards any user, regardless of cause, may not exceed the price of the ticket purchased by that user for the current Event edition;
  • the Organiser is not liable for the content, policies or practices of third-party sites linked from the Site, including livetickets.ro.

These provisions do not exclude liability for wilful misconduct, gross negligence or rights that the law does not allow to be limited.

11. Force majeure

The Organiser is exempt from liability in cases of force majeure and fortuitous events, as defined in art. 1351 of the Civil Code, including, without limitation: natural disasters, pandemics, decisions of public authorities prohibiting or restricting events, lack of utilities at the venue, cyberattacks. In such cases the rules in section 5 apply to tickets.

12. Changes to the terms

The Organiser may update these Terms at any time. The applicable version is the one published on the Site at the time of use. Substantial changes will be announced through a Site notice and, where appropriate, by e-mail to account holders.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by Romanian law. They are supplemented, without limitation, by: Law no. 365/2002 on electronic commerce, GEO no. 34/2014 on consumer rights in distance contracts, Government Ordinance no. 21/1992 on consumer protection, Law no. 296/2004 (the Consumer Code), Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR), Law no. 506/2004 on the processing of personal data in the electronic communications sector, and Law no. 8/1996 on copyright.

14. Dispute resolution

Any dispute will first be addressed amicably by notice to contact@bestlanparty.ro. We will respond within 30 days at the latest.

If amicable resolution fails, consumers have the following options:

  • the alternative dispute resolution procedure (ANPC SAL) - National Authority for Consumer Protection: https://anpc.ro/ce-este-sal/;
  • the European online dispute resolution platform (ODR): https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr;
  • the ordinary courts at the Organiser's registered office.

For complaints regarding personal data processing, the Privacy Policy applies.

15. Final provisions

If any provision of these Terms is declared null or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in force. The Organiser's failure to enforce a provision does not constitute a waiver of the right to invoke it later.
